INCLIMB, Timberline Mountain Guides(TMG) and Smith Rock Climbing School(SRCS) has partnered up to offer the best rock climbing experience available at Smith Rock and beyond. SRCS is the original Smith Rock climbing school and guide service. TMG and SRCS is AMGA accredited for both rock and alpine climbing and has been since 1993, longer than any other service currently guiding at Smith Rock. SRCS started operations in 1983. If you are shopping around for a climbing service with integrity, experience, competitive pricing and the best possible programs around, you have come to the right place. SRCS has a very low guide turn over rate so the chance of you starting a rapport with a guide one trip and getting the same guide the next trip is high. Most of the guides cross over from rock to alpine as well. Mt. Hood here you come!
INCLIMB is excited about this partnership. We know INCLIMB Guides & Rock Camps past and future clients will benefit greatly from this arrangement. If you are a past INCLIMB Guides & Rock Camps customer and have questions or concerns please feel free to email or call and we will do our best to help.

Cancellations and Refunds: If Timberline Mountain Guides, Inc. cancels a trip, prior to the trip date, you have the option of receiving a refund or rescheduling for a later date. If you cancel for any reason, prior to 30 days before your trip, we will happily give you a refund or you can reschedule for a later date. If you cancel less than 30 days before your trip, no refund is available. For this reason, we recommend that you purchase travel insurance from a travel agent.
Medical Considerations: If you have had a recent injury, illness, or surgery, or if you have a medical condition such as asthma or allergies to food or medications, you should consult with us as well as your physician before signing up for any trip.
Physical Conditioning: Climbing is a difficult and strenuous activity, both mentally and physically. Please be prepared. Get in shape before your trip, and the going will be much easier. The guide will make a decision to turn back if he feels that you cannot go on safely. We are not in a position to evaluate your fitness level, so it is up to you to evaluate it. If you are overweight or are in poor health, please consult your doctor before signing up for any trip.
Personal Responsibility: We make every effort to provide you with a safe and successful climb. Climbing and mountaineering involve inherent risks that are beyond our control. You will assume the responsibility for many decisions affecting the safety of your trip. We do not assume liability for injuries or death. All participants are completely responsible for all medical and hospital costs associated with any injury, rescue or evacuation. You must sign a release form and go at your own risk.
Weather Policy: Once a trip begins, if the activities are cut short due to weather, there is no refund available.
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED? Lightweight, comfortable clothing, plenty of water and sunscreen are necessities. Extras like a sweatshirt for spring mornings or a hat for hot summer afternoons may also be a good idea. Shoes that you will be hiking in choose wisely. Bring a lunch, but refrain from lots of extras- as they will become quite a burden carrying them all day! Ask us for local weather updates.
WHERE DO I MEET MY GUIDE? Your Smith Rock Climbing School guide will be waiting to meet you in the main parking lot right in front of the parking pass pay station. Note: The main parking lot pay station is different than the bivy(camping) area pay station. Please confirm your meeting time over the phone.
EQUIPMENT We can rent you all of the climbing gear if you do not have your own. Helmets are required. All personal climbing gear must be approved by your guide before use on a Smith Rock Climbing School guiding.
